We begin this tour with your transfer to the airport fof Antananarivo for taking the flight to the West Coast. One hour of flying and arrival in Morondava, greeting and transfer to your hotel. Orientation tour of the small city and put in the "Sakalava Menabe" atmosphere. Transfer to the hotel. Installation

Early departure from the hotel to reach the special reserve of Kirindy. In being located in the west area of the island, this forest is dense and dry. It desposes a very peculiar ecosystem and shelters a unique fauna. among that, we have the famous "Fosa", a real small puma that terrorize the undergrowth fauna. Appart from that, we also have about ten lemur species that live only in this part of the island. The visit of this reserve is done for nearly three hours with hardly any elevation because this site is located in a former sedimentary basin. After the visit, we rejoin the coast to get at the salty zone and lodge nestled near the mangroves. Installation.

We get by two ferry-boats during this day because of the two rivers that cut the west track . First stop in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina, visit of its small market and continuation to the north. The western dry landscape makes itself felt, heat and dust are forthcoming. The change of scene is total, Here and there we bump into people but the human density is very low, as long as life is very difficult there.
Arrival to the second ferry-boat in the middle of the day and crossing. We reach your hotel in the same vein. We get at the tsingy of Bemaraha territory.

A visit day in the National Park. Small Tsingy.
The Tsingy are formed by an erosion of former marine formation updated after the continental drift. Mainly composed by limestone, the tsingy covers a very large surface in all the western basins but they are only visible in some areas as in the Bemaraha. They are made up of cavities, canyons, corridors, towers, passageways and caves.
In this National Park, alleys, footbridges, stairs and even suspended bridges have been installed in order to facilitate the intern moves as well as the extern ones of this unique site.
For the first day of discovery of the Tsingy, the morning will be distinguished by the visit of the gorges and their cultural treasures such as caves and tombs of Vazimba (first inhabitants of the island), we will stride along the Manambolo river in a bit more one kilometer on board of traditional pirogue and you will be accompanied with your guide and his striking explanations.
In the afternoon, you will have a appetizer of the discovery and the jaunt in the great tsingy. Coming back to your hotel at the end of the day.
