Getting settled at your hotel and a car departure for a link to the area of Imerintsiatosika. Setting up for hiking. Departure after breakfast to Antsirabe, capital of the Vakinakaratra area. Stopping on the way for photo break. Visit of traditional villages and recycling artisans. A Ambatolampy, the aluminum has replaced the iron ore, used to manufacture the farm tool of the region for a long time. Nowadays, the aluminum becomes an authentic exchange currency in this area from where it is reputed. Lunch (free) getting along to Antsirabe and its hot springs. Coming along in the middle of the afternoon, visiting some craftsmen and setting up in your hotel.

The Antsirabe region is a real opportune to hiking, sufficiently flat with some easy ascents, a colorful landscape and a welcoming people. We start with two days of hiking in the Lakes'area to reach the bottom of the Vakinakaratra hills, the Ibity mount.
Studded with villages and cultural sites, this hiking is very rich in humans and cultural, you will immerse in the day-to-day of the local people. Between June and September you would be even able to experience some striking ancestral rites such as exhumation and circumcision.

The car will take you in Manandona and keep going to Ambositra. A prominent place for woodworking, the Ambositra area shelters a cultural talent that is listed as intangible and cultural heritage by UNESCO. The Zafimaniry are the guardians of this heritage of Betsileo facility : the art of wood carving. Halt in Ambositra for discovering the small market and also to fill up the stock for the next Trek. Getting along to Ambaladingana and its small lodge that is nicely situated in the heart of a prolific valley.

Transfer by car until Antoetra and departure of the little trek that will lead us to the small locality of Ifasina. This isolated village is among the Zafimaniry people. At that place, life is like there was 200 years ago
, no frills and comfort. Lunch, with the local and coming back to Antoetra in the afternoon. We will call on the village chief and it is common to shop some souvenirs at diverses small houses. Back at the lodge in the late afternoon. Installation in a bungalow.

Departure after the breakfast and setting forth the south to reach Ranomafana in the east side of the land. The landscape varies a lot and give way to a luxury and green vegetation. Here, the kings are the lemurs. Arrival in the middle of the day. Lunch (free) at the entrance of the park and we immediately carry on with a visit of the park. The exit is expected downwards to 06 kms of there. First foray in this world that is rich in fauna and flora. You will see the first lemurs especially the most emblematical such as the golden bamboo eater lemur or the propithecus Edwardsy. Exiting the park at the end of the day and installation in your hotel.

We start the day with a visit of another part of the national park. Three hours of visit and exit in the middle of the day. We come back into the car and make an ascent in order to join the national 07. Going beyond Fianarantsoa and visiting the old town with cute small alleys. Continuation to Ambalavao and we inroad the descent to the middle south of the island. Arrival at the end of the day and installation in your room. During the first day, transfer by car to Antanifotsy for reaching the first encampment over 1400m. Second day, itinerary following the forest and the two sacred waterfalls that reach more than 400m of height and encamping over 2100m for the night. Third day, early ascent of the summit in 2658m and descent to the third encampment of Iataranomby. Passing by the exotic site.
Andringitra is a mountain chain that surpasses the middle south of the island. It is the second summit of the island with the peak 'Boby' that culminates to 2658m of height after after the one 'Maromokotra' in the north with 2878m, and this last is not accessible for novice hikers. The massif is mainly made of granite and easy to reach. Despite its modest height, its high mountain relief of pleases a lot the hikers.

Twisty descent to the valley. Exiting the park in the middle of the day after an early departure of the last encampment. Reception in Morarano and transfer to the lodge of the Camp Catta. Taking repose for the for the rest of the day.

Transfer to the National 07 and going to the south for Ranohira. A former sacred place of the 'Bara Iantsantsa' and 'Imamono'. This massif is known for its uncommon colors with yellow , green and red variations. Mainly made up of sandstone, it offers a unique decor with its eroded shapes for thousands of years.
Arrival in the middle of the day and installation before the trek for the encampment preparations.

Early departure to reach the small village in the north of the site. Starting the trek and a three days encampment in the unique decor of Isalo. Some centuries ago, people said that some Portuguese sailors have stayed in this massif after a castaway by the east coast of the island and they wanted to reach the west coast, most haunted during this time. Among the sailors there was one that was called Solomon, from what the name 'Isalo ' was derived.
Canyon, valleys, cascades, rivers, plateaus and forested areas constitute this exceptional region. Last encampment by the Namaza site.
