After the breakfast, departure for Antsirabe, southbound in taking the state highway for a distance of 175 km.
Antsirabe, that literally means "there where there is salt", is taken by the existence of several salty thermal water located in the city and in the surroundigs of the region. Antsirabe is also called the "city of water".
The first stop of this day is in Ambatolampy for seeing aluminum recovery workplace : the artisans manufacture there most of the kitchenkware of Malagasy households (spoons, pans, …). Then there will be after that some stops for photos.
Free lunch to the discovery of some local boards, which are not rare on the road.
The Vakinankaratra region has inherited a very prolific volcanic soil, it provides the half of vegetables and fruits of the great Island. Consuming "fresh" will thus be unavoidable ! On arrival in Antsirabe, city tour and visit of some workshops of the surrounding. The city abounds in many relics of the colonial time that are still subsisting now, namely the "hotel des thermes", the houses with colonnade, the post office, the gardens and especially the railway station. Early departure . We leave the freshness of Antsirabe after us and we continue to the west on the national 34 to Miandrivazo. The savannah is progressively replaced by rice fields and mountains which are more and more peeled. By chance, you could bump into the zebu leaders who take this road until Antsirabe for selling their animals, a spectacle that is breathtaking !
Miandrivazo, located in 246 km, is known for its sizzling hit. This place is an originator for our river trip of the Tsiribihina , an experience that promises to be unforgettable. Lunch on board.

2nd day of the river trip.
Elsewhere, the steppes and grassy savannas mainly dominate the current Malagasy view. But here, we have the privileged to see and to visit an oriental forest, which is one of the rare vestiges of primeval flora of Madagascar. There is a great variety of lemurs and rare birds have their glamour. Our circumnavigation also allows us to discover the crocodiles of Nil and to contemplate the fluvial nature surrounds us.

3th day of the river trip, a way through the city of Serinam.
Previously, the relics of the kings of Menabe have stayed in this place until they were displaced into their respective original places in 1913.
The tobacco planting is practised since a long time in this region, and it is illustrated by the existence of cultivators' village that we could visit. In fact, this sector provide for the needs of many families in this region of Menabe. Lunch on board and transshipment in a car.

1st day of discovery of the Tsingy : a very peculiar geologic formation, which covers a surface of 157 710 hectares in area. In arising from a former tectonic activity, the Tsingy present a singular shape. They are inscribed in the heritage of UNESCO . The visit begins with an exploration by the 'small' Tsingy that represent a real sanctuary for about hundreds of protected species. In the afternoon, a jaunt on pirogue on the Manambolo and its ancestral culture will be possible.

Transfer to the North of the Tsingy in the beginning of the day and continuation of our adventure in the Tsingy maze, in joining the corridors and the scenic spots. This time, it will be the Great Tsingy that will be honored. It is rather sportive route induce us to bring some special equipments, at your disposal for 4 to 5h of visit. A day that promises to be sportive !

Very earlier departure from Bekopaka to cross the two ferry-boats and the 80 kilometers of red land track which separate us from Morondava,the economic capital of the Menabe region. Spectacular stop at the famous loving baobabs and the legendary Baobab avenue, a national emblem and pride of the Region.
