Madagascar, the must-see.

Ranomafana

Like all tourist countries, Madagascar has its places and things not to miss. During your stay in Madagascar, you'll want to be in all these emblematic places and do all these unusual trips that the island has to offer, but know first that it is the fourth largest island in the world and the distances are long enough. So be sure to focus on the issues that most interest you. There is something for every taste, adventurers, sports, beaches, nature, craft,……..We have selected some points of interest not to miss during your trip to Madagascar.
1- Parc National d’Andasibe. Also known as Perinet, This park protects 155 km² of primary rainforest in eastern Madagascar. A hundred species of birds live there, and a dozen small lemurs, including the aye-aye mystique and Indri Indri, the largest of the lemurs. The association VOI Mitsinjo Village Association and managed by the local community and worth a visit – benefits support community initiatives and local development.
2- The National Park of Bemaraha and Tsingy of Bemaraha, that protect a small limestone plateau partially eroded to create spectacular caves and karsts or almost Tsingy 30 meters. You can see a dozen lemur, one of the smallest reptiles in the world as the antsingy leaf chameleon (caméléon Tsingy) which is only found in this area limestone eroded. There are hiking trails breathtaking – attention to crocodiles, the ibis and the nocturnal geckos. It is reached by a dirt road from Morondava, the capital of western Madagascar.
3- Nosy Be, tropical island located a few nautical miles off the north coast of the large island of Madagascar, most developed Nosy Be is the resort island – but less authentic – of the region, with its own international airport and surrounding attractions all included. The beaches have nothing to envy to those of Polynesia, with far fewer tourists and an exceptional climate. Do not miss, snorkeling in the company of whale sharks, or take a boat to an island nearby and visit the wilderness area Lokobe.
4- The sandstone Isalo. The mountain of Isalo was eroded by sharp ridges, larges et canyons in miniature pinnacles. This bewitching landscape is full of lemurs, burial sites, canyons, rivers, some lakes, natural pools, and those who venture inside this site will be rewarded with waterfalls and gorges. It's called the Malagasy Colorado because of its forms and colors those who borrow from these American lands.
5- The famous alley of baobabs. Located in the western region of the island and on the road going in the Tsingy of Bemaraha. National Heritage as well as the sugar loaf of Diego Suarez Bay or the rainforest Eastern. 6- The total reserve of Masoala. Located on the tip of the Masoala Peninsula, this reserve contains one of the most intact remains of primary forest in Madagascar. 10- Antsirabe, This chaotic and mountainous city is a mixture of rickshaws, beggars and crafts among the best in Madagascar.
